About us

BIOCHEM-ART was established in 2000 as a response to the needs of the brewing market (and other branches of the food industry) in the field of specialised functional food additives.

We supply enzyme preparations for beer production, malt and hop extracts and an array of functional additives used in the brewing process. We provide advice and training on their use in specialised laboratories. We deliver our products to breweries in Poland and abroad.

We actively share our knowledge by lecturing at universities and strive to constantly improve our offer by participating in conferences and events related to the industry.

We also care for health and nature. That is why we have built our base in the heart of Kashubia amidst nature. Our state of the art, zero-emissions, warehouse allows us to store our products while meeting strict temperature and storage conditions.

We operate under the principle of direct contact, which builds trust and lasting friendships.

A graduate from the Faculty of Food Technology with a specialization in Biotechnology at the University of Agriculture and Technology in Olsztyn (currently the University of Warmia and Mazury), Cezary focus his master’s thesis research on the aspects of the production of beers with the incorporation of fruit.

He started his professional career in 1995 at the Hevelius Brewing Company in Gdańsk, where after completing an internship he took the position of Laboratory Manager. While working at the brewery, he also performed duties as a brewhouse manager, fermentation and ageing manager and deputy production director.

In September 2000, he established the BIOCHEM-ART company, which deals in a broad aspect with specialized food additives.

He keeps his profile and know-how sharp by participating in brewing conferences in Poland and abroad; and shares his knowledge and experience during lectures at universities and industry meetings.

Career highlights:

launching enzyme products for the brewing industry by DSM and building a sales structure where BIOCHEM-ART became the leading supplier of enzymes for breweries in Poland;
the first world implementation of enzymatic beer stabilization (currently over 40% of world beer production is stabilized with this method);
